A responsible adult with a love for childish things. Children are honestly incredible to me, I enjoy participating in their learning, play and them taking on this universe in their unique ways. I moved to Spain shortly after finishing school and worked as an au pair to a Spanish family in Fuengirola to a boy (6) and girl (8) for almost a year, only returning home because of family commitments. Before that I began babysitting quite young as I always showed an ability to be responsible and keep a level head. I was an occasional babysitter for two sets of families with x3 boys of varying ages. In later years my work experience has predominantly been food management (I am comfortable in a kitchen creating food and snacks), administration work (if you need anything alphabetised, I'm your gal) and I have travelled quite a bit and had some interesting life experiences that have help shaped my view on life and my belief that we need to very much encourage the children of our future. I also sat on the governing body of a children's charity (Foroige) for a year in my youth, I was involved in many programmes around mental health and services that catered to 56,000 young people around Ireland. My mother is unwell and has been for many years, I am her only child and am used to tackling high stress situations, illness and every challenge that comes with long term illness. I am patient, compassionate and collected. Also a huge animal lover and would be even happier if there was a pet present.
