I am a 19 year old female with experience in both the elderly and disability sector. I have spent 2 years working in home care providing care to those of all needs; illness, social company call, palliative care, personal care, respite to parents of children with additional needs in their own home or outings. I also have experience in supporting behaviors of concern, with mapa/cpi training completed. I now work as a special needs assistant and bus escort for a special school ensuring the correct support is provided to those with needs to allow them the access to education they all deserve, while also promoting independence. I have total experience of all ages, genders and needs. I’m currently looking for hours that are out of school hours. I am aware of the difficulty it may be to children with ASD/ intillectual disabilities for adjusting and am happy to/ recommend slow introducing to allow them to become farmiliar and comfortable. I am certified in care skills, care of the elderly, special needs assisting and also many other certificates including epilepsy/ Buccalum midazolam training.
