I've volunteered with Alone, supporting older adults who often feel lonely or isolated. I also spent a full summer last year minding my ex-mother-in-law, preparing her meals, helping her with medication reminders, and accompanying her to hospital appointments. I'm a qualified Reiki Master (certified November 2025), which means I bring a naturally calm, patient presence, but I never push it, only offer it if welcomed. I help with getting dressed (at their pace, with full dignity), appointments (taking notes, asking the right questions), errands, and light meals, but I don't do bathing or personal hygiene. I also bring over a decade of corporate experience in administration and client coordination, so I'm organised, reliable, and calm under pressure.
