I have over five years of experience working in the care sector, supporting older adults and individuals with intellectual disabilities across a range of settings. I began my career with Home Instead as a home carer before spending just over a year working in a nursing home with older adults. For the past three years, I have worked with adults who are deafblind and have intellectual disabilities, supporting individuals with complex needs to live fulfilling and independent lives. These experiences have strengthened my skills in communication, person-centred care, advocacy and building meaningful relationships.
