Hi! I have always loved spending time with children and have experience minding children from the age of 2 upwards. I really enjoy getting to know each child, discovering their interests and finding ways to make our time together fun, engaging and enjoyable. I will be in college in September and I am particularly interested in childminding during the summer months, when I have greater availability. Throughout the year, I’ll also be available for occasional childminding. I believe children flourish when they have opportunities to explore, be creative and, most importantly, have fun. I love reading stories, playing music, doing arts and crafts, spending time outdoors and coming up with activities that bring a bit of fun and excitement to their day. Music is a big part of my life. I play piano and guitar and especially love traditional Irish music. I also love speaking Irish and would be delighted to bring some music and Gaeilge into everyday activities if that is something your children would enjoy. For me, childminding is about much more than simply looking after children. I would love to be a positive and encouraging person in their lives — someone they can have fun with, learn from and feel comfortable around. I’d love to encourage their interests, help build their confidence and give them the space to be themselves and flourish as they grow. I’d be delighted to get to know your family and find out what is important to you and your children.
