Hi! My name is Isabela, I’m 28 years old and originally from Brazil. I currently live in Lucan, Dublin, and I came to Ireland to improve my English and experience Irish culture. I’m a pre-intermediate English student and attend English classes in the mornings, which means I’m available to work in the afternoons. I have a degree in Economics from Brazil, as well as three years of experience working as a babysitter when I was younger. I also have two godchildren whom I have helped care for since they were born, giving me experience with children of different ages, from babies to older children. I feel comfortable and confident looking after children and supporting them with their daily routines. I also have experience caring for a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Support Level 1). This experience taught me the importance of patience, understanding, clear communication and adapting activities to each child’s individual needs. In addition, I have experience working at holiday camps, where I helped organise activities, games and daily routines while making sure the children were safe, happy and engaged. I have also had experience providing companionship to elderly people, which has helped me develop even more patience, empathy, responsibility and attentiveness when caring for others. I’m a patient, responsible, friendly and caring person, but I also love having fun and creating a positive environment for children. I enjoy playing with them, preparing simple meals, helping with daily routines and activities, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. I’m currently looking for a part-time babysitting position in Dublin, particularly in the afternoons.
