I am a mum of three and understand the importance of patience, kindness, trust and treating every person with dignity and respect. I am looking to provide friendly and dependable support to older people in their own homes. I can offer companionship, conversation and social interaction, as well as help with everyday household tasks such as cleaning, tidying, laundry, shopping and preparing simple meals. I am happy to provide practical day-to-day support and assistance with routines, while encouraging independence wherever possible. I understand that having someone trustworthy around can make a real difference, whether it is helping with household jobs, accompanying someone on an outing or simply providing company and a friendly face. I recently completed my QQI Level 5 in Psychology and Special Needs Assisting, achieving distinctions across all modules. This has strengthened my understanding of individual needs, communication, patience and providing person-centred support. I am hardworking, approachable, dependable and respectful, and I would take pride in providing a safe, comfortable and positive environment for the person I am supporting.
