Hi ? Experienced childcare worker with fetac level 5 in early childcare and education. Also have a fetac level 5 in special needs assisting and have worked in school settings as a special needs assistant which i also loved . Ive over 7 years experience in both a childcare setting and worked with families caring for their children in my own home ?. Ive over 1 years experience subbing as a special needs assistant. I was originally drawn to this line of work as it works around my own family schedule. Its also very relevant to my life. Im a busy mam to 4 beautiful children Ages 11,10, 3 and almost 1 years old. 3 girls and 1 boy I prefer working directly with families rather than in a childcare setting as its more , relaxed and personal , they nearly become like an extended family and I really enjoyed working with the previous families I did childminding for.
