I have approximately 4 years of informal/personal experience supporting older adults, including providing family support to an elderly uncle who was recovering from a stroke from 2022 until my relocation to Ireland, as well as 2 months supporting an older adult in the USA. My experience includes companionship, mobility assistance, meal preparation and feeding, communication support, light housekeeping, supervision, and helping maintain a safe, calm and comfortable daily environment. I am now looking for a live-in carer role focused on companionship and light assistance, where I can provide conversation, reassurance, practical day-to-day support and a caring presence while respecting the person’s independence and routines.
