Hi, I’m Blaise. I’m an Irish mam of an 11-year-old daughter and have a strong background in childcare and early education. I previously worked in Corporate IT, but I truly miss working with children — it’s where I’m at my best. While working as Room Leader in Creches my experience with all ages grew, but I loved creating a supportive, open and calming environment particularly for children who had not experienced being away from their parent/guardian before. Seeing these children develop to be the first ones running in the door in the morning, is some of my proudest work to date, and makes me so happy. I have over 8 years’ experience in childcare, having worked in creches (Giraffe and Links) before becoming a full-time childminder while completing my Business degree at night. I hold a Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Education & Care, along with an Honours Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. I’m an active, organised person who thrives in a busy environment. Child wellbeing, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I love animals, the outdoors, and encouraging children to explore nature — my long-term goal is to open a Forest Preschool. I’m currently looking for the right family in the Celbridge area (but I have a full, clean, drivers license so willing to commute) who would value a caring, reliable, and experienced childminder. I’m excited to support a family who wants a warm and nurturing environment for their little ones. Ideally, I would love to mind in my own home, which we purchased in 2021, when we moved to the Celbridge area.
