Hi my name is Karina. I have been working with children from young babies up to 15 years of age for the last 20 years and love that I am able to watch them grow and develop. I started my child care career in a creche and then moved into a nanny job. Whilst doing this on a full time basis, I also dedicated my spare time volunteering for different youth clubs to gain experience with adolescence. During my childcare career, I acquired a degree in psychology which has helped me to understand and help young children grow and develop into independent individuals through all aspects of their development by creating fun activities throughout the day in and outside the house. Due to Covid I began to mind the children from my own home. I greatly enjoyed this new change, especially as I was able to create a playroom with fun and educational toys, a garden with enjoyable outdoor activities and lots of sensory, art, physical and musical activities. I have a 6 year old girl who goes to school and a 4 year old boy who go to preschool. I mind other children from my home and have a spot opening up from mid September. I live in the Raheny area.
