Admittedly, I have about 7 months professional experience in caring for the elderly. However, I do have personal experience as my boyfriend when I was younger suffered a traumatic brain injury and I devoted myself to being by his side for 2 years. I assure you that this job is in my bones - it is EXTREMELY important to me. I genuinely connect to people of age as I myself have had experiences which has given me wisdom and strength that younger people my age may not have experienced. I have not yet been vetted on this site for financial reasons however should it be required I would be happy to. I have been recently vetted as I have been a healthcare assistant for the elderly in their homes. I assure you that my record is absolutely 100% clean and clear. I can't express how inp this job is to me and what it means. It is not a job to me - it is a privilege. It is something I LIVE to do. I enjoy the company of women and men whom have lived their lives caring for everyone and now DESERVE the same in return. They deserve most of all someone whom really values being in their company with a desire to ENSURE they maintain their dignity as they go through this extremely difficult period. I have received a caring job on this app to which I would be very happy to ask for a reference from this lovely lady. It is ESSENTIAL to me that any vulnerable and elderly people feel extremely comfortable, valued, heard and cared for by me all whilst maintaining as much independence as possible. There is NOTHING I will not to for someone in need. I cannot emphasize just how much I understand the emotions that are possibly being experienced at this time for anyone contemplating this service. I am here to be of support also. I am genuinely an extremely caring person seeking ways to express this through my desire to do this job to the utmost of my ability. I do feel strongly however that I should not be overlooked as I do have a natural ability to fulfil this role to an extremely high standard.
