Hi. I am naturally a very patient, caring and empathetic person and I have a huge respect for the older generation. I am training as a care assistant and have the three compulsory Fetac Level 5 modules under my belt (Care Skills, Care for the Older Person & Patient Handling). I hope to continue with these studies in the near future. I have been working with Home Instead as a care assistant for over a year now in the Greystones area. I have taken care of a gentleman with physical disabilities every weekday morning for a year now. I also have experience with bedtime preparation for an elderly gentleman who had alzheimers. A few years ago, I returned to Peru for a month to care for my terminally ill father, this is when I decided that Health Care was a career I wanted to pursue. I have lived in the Greystones area for over 4 years with my son and fiancee. I am looking to gain more experience in taking care of the elderly and evening/weekend hours would suit me best.
