I graduated in physiotherapy in 2015 in Brazil, and worked for 3 years with elderly doing physio sessions in their homes. Here in Ireland I've worked as a HCA for almost one year. This was a great experience due to the fact I could connect more with the clients and their families. I also had a short experience in a nursing home. In the past back in Brazil I also helped my grandmothers when they fall ill, this period was really hard to me but it gave the sense of compassion and make understand that when looking after other people, we need to try to put ourselves in their shoes
