My name is Laura Dorantes

I am 25 years old

I am from Mexico and I am a nutritionist

I currently have a month and a half living in Dublin

my plan to stay here is a minimum of 8 months with extension to 8 months more to renew another English course. I'll talk a little about myself; I am from a small family composed of my father

my mother

my younger sister (18 years old) and my older brother (29 years old); my brother is currently married to an amazing woman

loves him and respects too much and thanks to the great love they have

last year a little person came to our lives that from the moment I knew I would arrive in my life I was the happiest person of the world

I'm talking about my nephew

he was born on April 22

and from the moment of his birth until 9 months I stopped seeing him physically (because every day I see him by video call) take care of him

I watched him grow as he loved every day more

at the time of making my decision to come to live in another country not being able to be with him was one of the hardet things that I have faced

but I know that I will be with him again. He and in the meantime I keep watching him grow at a distance

it's not the same but it makes me happy. I am a person who likes to play sports

in Mexico I practice swimming for 5 years and gymnastics for 8 years

I like to have fun but everything is healthy

I like making friends

traveling

reading

listening to music

going to the movies or just for a coffee once in a while alone. Within my professional experience I studied 4 and a half years in nutrition

within which 1 year I was living in a community far from my city

so I went to my city every month

it was a unique experience since it made me I grew a lot as a person as well as professionally

since I met very nice and very nice people that made me feel at home

I had to adapt to them

to their lifestyle as well as their customs. Within my career years I went to 4 nutrition conferences

3 in my country and 1 in Colombia last year

since I always look for an update on my career and learn a little more each day. My experience with children begins when I was 17 years old

I did my community service in a State Institute of Blind Children for 1 year; after having my service

I continued as a volunteer in that institution until the month of January 2018; After my year of service I signed up as a volunteer for an Association for children with different abilities in which I first participated in a summer camp and followed by that in multiple activities within the Association such as costume parties

other cities within Mexico etc. In my country there is an association that is dedicated to taking care of and doing multiple activities to children with cancer in which it participates in 7 occasions

taking toys to hospitals. In all the aforementioned I was a volunteer

because I really like to live with children regardless of whether or not they have a disability

for me we are all the same only some of us have to take greater care; Now

with my widower

apart from taking care of him

I was in charge of carrying out his diet and that of his mother

so that they would have a good nutrition and an adequate development. When he took care of the most

to eat the milk that her mother left for him since she works

I told him stories even though I did not understand anything

or I just went to bed to be with him

he came to change my whole life
