I am a matured, loving, caring, passionate and compassionate woman with a caring nature especially for the children and the elderly. For almost 4 years I was taking care of my 89 year old granny who suffered a mild dementia. She sustained a hip bone fracture and was immobile for almost a year which after started using us a walking frame for 3 years. During that time the dementia intensified. She passed on after 4 years at 93 years of age. My older sister and I were the ones taking care of her all those years. She was a happy old lady even during her health challenges. I have learned firsthand how to take care of the vulnerable elderly and the satisfaction of making a difference in someone else's life and I am very passionate of the young and the old hence I decided to take a career in healthcare and make a difference and to give back to the Irish community as sign of my appreciation for welcoming me and my family in their beautiful country. The experience I had with my gran inspired me to do a Level 5 Major Award I. Healthcare. I now have 2 years experience in nursing care. I have special love for people in general, even more for elderly, children and physically challenged ones. I'm looking forward to hearing from you
