Hi! My name is Patricia, I am currently 20 years old and I come from a mediterranean city in Spain called Alicante. If I had to briefly describe myself I would start by stating that I am a woman of clear morals, an open mind, and tons of enthusiasm to learn and live new experiences. I always say that, even though I am an only child, I have a personality that aligns with the “older sister” stereotype, to my sense of responsibility. I like to keep organized and to be caring and protective to those I love. I believe myself to have an ideal character when it comes to deal with children and young teenagers, given my patience and my creativeness when thinking of fun ways we can spend time together and learn from each other. Currently I am studying a degree in International Relations. I felt like it was the thing I wanted to invest my life in when I saw the opportunities it brought to travel around the globe, getting to know the nooks and crannies of each culture and letting everyone know about mine. Another big thing for me was having spent all my life learning languages (owning currently a B2 degree in English and getting myself prepared for a C1, and having studied a B1 course level of French) I felt like I needed them to be put to practice. I have been in a volunteer in a Youth program from the Spanish Red Cross for a year. In that program I helped kids and young teenagers with theur homework after school, or helping them studyung for theur exams. Also I prepared games and art crafts to spend a good time after the homeworks. Last summer I was an aupair in Mullingar for almost two months, and I taked care over two children around the age of 5-7 years old. I do truly feel like I am a strong contestant for the spot of Au Pair , and I would be extremely grateful to be given the opportunity to show my skills and grow and help others grow by my side.
