My name is Letícia, I’m 23, from Brazil. I’m here in Dublin to study and improve my English. I'm responsible, organized and energetic person always committed to my duties. I love beign with children, and that made me choose to became a teacher. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in History in a public University in Brazil and I have already worked with kids in different ages, because I’ve been teaching since I was 19. My first class was in a voluntary project for disadvantage teenagers at my University, and I taught History and Literature for them to apply for University. In these classes, I used to have more than 100 students because the project was really big in the city I studied. I worked in this project for 4 years, and I also made a big academic research about Education as my final search at University. During the years of my College, I used to do some voluntary work in a children's house charity, reading and playing for orphan kids. Last year, I worked for this Private School in Brazil, and I was the History teacher of the Elementary School – with kids from 10 to 14 years. Also last year, I was studying Pedagogy (Education for children under 10) and I had to do an internship at some schools (Primary School). In this intership I used to assist the teacher at class by taking care of the kids inside the calss and on their break too (kids were 4/5-7/8). Since I decided to move to Dublin to improve my English I miss teaching and being with kids because I think that children have a lot to teach for us too. That’s why I’m applying for an Childminder/Babysitter job because I love kids and I think I’d be a great on it, and also I could help the kids with homework, which I love! Besides my academic life, I’m a extroverted, responsable and commited person. In other words, I’m a fun, loving and caring person and also have loads of energy to look after kids. I used to find different ways to teach my kids, so I always try to play and try different and new things with the kids to improve their creativity. Summarizing, I love to be involved with kids and always willing to learn from new experiences.
