Dear Family, My name is Thay. I am a 28 year-old (female) . I currently live in Dublin. I come from a family of 3: My parents, Elizabeth e Luiz (which unfortunately are no longer among us). I have 1 sister. My sister Camilla, is 31 years old and is lawyer. I graduated in Human Resources. In about a year or two I plan to pursue a masters degree, but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. So, at the moment, I would like to take some time out of academics to have a different life experience, and to have time to calmly reflect on my future academic/professional orientation. To this end, I think spending a year abroad would be particularly interesting. When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. As part of my university studies in psychology, I spent a one month internship period working in a children's home in Rio de Janeiro. I also organized for them and took part in recreational indoor and outdoor activities: we sang, danced, played games, role played, drew, painted, and narrated stories. I have experience with two families in Ireland: * I worked a year and a half taking care of a lovely one year old boy, I took care of him until he was 2 years old (year in which he went to preschool). They are like my family in Ireland, I do some babysitting for them and I visit them regularly. * With my second family, which I currently work for until August. I take care of 6 year old twins, a wonderful girl and a lovely boy, I'm with them since April last year but now they have changed class and they will have to stay longer at school. I really hope to find a job that I can reconcile the two jobs so I don't have to leave them ☹️☹️ My duties with these families were basically: * I managed food. * Washing and laundry * Tidying up the child room * Organising games for the child and playing with them * Taking child to the library, park, swimming and shopping. * Take the kids to school and pick them up * Help them do their homework I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children 😃😃 Regarding my leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book. I also enjoy painting. Did I already mention that I love to read and write? I love. I love animals and I have a beautiful puppy named Jon Snow.
