My name is Karla Merino, I am Mexican, I am 35 years old and I have been living in Dublin for 9 months, the same time that I have been working as a permanent childminder with an Irish-Chinese family. Likewise, I have had a couple more children in my charge by night or by the hour. I have references from the Irish, Spanish and Mexican family with whom I have worked. The age range is from 7 to 11 years old with the children that I have worked with in Dublin. However, in Mexico I was an afterschool teacher for 8 years with children from 6 to 12 years old. I am a creative, dynamic person with a very good energy. Normally the boys always feel trust towards me, and we can organize the activities dynamically. I like to organize trips to the park, picnics, cook healthily and teach them to cook simple or cold food. I like to teach them to make crafts, paint and draw, cut out or play games that help their motor development. Added to this I can do general cleaning of the areas where we carry out activities or spend time. If possible, always include them in the activities so that they themselves learn in a friendly way to be organized and clean. I love pets so I have no problem living with them or going for a walk.
